The Whakatōhea Pre Settlement Trust is pleased to finally be able to have a vote on whether to continue the current Settlement process, re-mandate, or hold a Waitangi Tribunal Inquiry. The vote will be held from 1 October 2018 and will run till 26 October 2018.

If you are a registered member of Whakatōhea over the age of 18, you will be receiving via post all explanatory information and a voting form. You may also vote online using the information provide in your voting packs, or return your vote in the envelope provided.

A series of information hui will be held in October to provide more information on the voting process and our Treaty settlement journey. We encourage as many of you as possible to attend so that we can kōrero kanohi ki te kanohi and ensure your questions on the vote are answered. Dates for these information hui can be found here.
